Graham Huntley has consistently been recognised as one of the UK’s highest ranked commercial litigators and has been involved in some of the most ground-breaking and successful litigation cases of recent years.
Chambers and Partners ranks Graham in Band 1 for his experience in handling complex commercial litigation, describing him as “an intense and effective solicitor with an incredibly client-focused approach.” Sources have described him as “very bright, very hard-working, a good tactician and he offers very sound advice,” and “extremely tenacious and keeps the client’s interests in mind”. Graham has also been described as “stellar” and as “a great opponent – bright and focused with exemplary analytical skills”.
Graham has been involved in several high profile and multi-jurisdictional cases through his work at Signature Litigation. His case highlights are many, but include:
- Representing a major international investment bank in their multi-jurisdictional claim against a mining company as they sought payment of fees worth over £100 million in relation to five different M&A transactions and equity and debt transactions over a period of four years
- Advising the heirs of a Georgian businessman who died in 2008. The family claimed an interest in a joint investment by the late businessman and his partner, which they claimed had been consistently concealed by the business partner
