Daniel is a commercial litigator with significant experience of representing corporations, financial institutions and directors in complex, high value disputes. He has also acted in numerous international and domestic arbitrations. Many of his cases have a strong cross-border element. His practice covers a range of industry sectors including financial markets, investment funds, mining, oil and gas and insurance/reinsurance. He has rights of audience in the Higher Courts of England and Wales.
Daniel trained and qualified at a major international law firm, where he undertook secondments to the firm’s Hong Kong office and one of the world’s largest financial institutions. He joined Signature in August 2013 from another leading City of London law firm.
Daniel has published articles and delivered talks on a number of topical issues, and regularly comments in the trade and legal press. This has included appearing on the BBC World Service’s “Business Daily” programme discussing the recent LIBOR and foreign currency exchange rate rigging scandals. He is a member of the Commercial Litigation Association.
